Information about registration

Thank you for choosing Canterbury Soccer. We are excited to play together!  Registration opens March 1 and closes on March 31.  NO LATE REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED (with the exception of SUPERMOS... if your child is born in 2002, 2003, 2004, please email us at canteburysoccer@gmail.com) Thank you!

In order to make sure things go smoothly, it is important you complete the full registration process, so please read the following carefully.

Registration is handled by an off-site service (PowerUp Sports).  When you click “Register” below, you will be taken to this site.

To register:

  1. Log into your account from previous years (if you have forgotten your password, follow the directions to retrieve it). 
    OR Sign up for a new account if you do not already have one. To start a new account:

    • Enter Parent/Guardian information.  This designates the owner of the account, and the person with whom we communicate

    • Enter each child’s information

  2. Once you are in your account and all your children are entered, purchase registrations for each child.

  3. Fill out a volunteer form, if you are willing to volunteer as a coach, assistant coach or on the Executive.  We need one volunteer for every 5 children to make this work, so please consider volunteering (even if you don’t know anything about soccer… we’ll teach you!).

  4. Agree to the waiver and photo release.  If you do not wish photos taken of your child, please email us at canterburysoccer@gmail.com

  5. If you wish your child to play with a friend, please put the name in the correct box.  NOTE: We only allow one request per child and the friend requested must also request your child.  We  cannot guarantee that your request will be fulfilled.

  6. If your child has any medical concerns we need to know about, please add this with the friend request.

  7. Pay: click on PayPal for credit card payment – you do not need a PayPal account to pay by credit card or if you wish to pay by cheque, leave a check for the amount with the Canterbury Community Centre front desk. Please make the cheque out to: Canterbury Soccer Club and put your child's name with it.

  8. Note: if paying by cheque, payment must be received by April 20th or your child will be deregistered.

Cancellations and Refunds

If you need to cancel your registration, please let us know. You must cancel by May 1st to receive a refund. Email us at canterburysoccer@gmail.com with “CANCELLATION” in your subject line. Any cancellations after May 1st will result in the forfeit of your full fee.
